TRINITY BLOOD-THE CROWN OF THORNS THE LORD OF OATH (FINALE)-EPISODE 24-3 1/2 STARS

Hey, Father Hughe is back! You know who that is, right? Sword Dancer from episode 6? Anyway, he’s back and he’s ready to do battle against Isaac who’s a member of Rosenkreutz. As you know, Isaac is riding around in this huge Millennium Falcon like ship, so he’s pretty much unstoppable. Well, almost……

He sends out these small devices to assist him in destroying the city, however Hughe seems to be getting a kick out of ripping them to shreds. Only thing is, since when does he know how to fly? You should see him jumping around in the air like a giant pogo stick, slicing these things in half, I didn’t know he had that kind of talent.

Back to Isaac who’s having a good ‘ol time attacking Rome, but the AX Team gets the last laugh, and BOOM! No more Issac and Millennium Falcon. Oh well, it’s the end of the series anyway, so who cares. Let’s skip over to our favorite android who has the vial of crusnik blood and is about to dump it……on top of the coffin? I’m sorry, I always thought that if you wanted someone to drink something, you put it in their mouth, but I could be wrong.

Okay so Tres pour the blood out, but spots Cain who has come to steal Abel’s body, and it’s on now. Tres is firing on auto pilot, but Cain is a crusnik and bullets are harmless to him. Yes, I finally found out a couple of episodes ago that Cain is indeed a crusnik, just like his brother. So I was a little late retrieving that information, but who cares?

Cain gets a hold of Tres and slams him into a wall. WHAT? NOT MY FAVORITE ROBOT IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD! Somebody get a android mechanic on the phone and make it quick!

Now before Cain can get a hold of Esther (yeah, that broad is there too), Abel bursts out of his coffin, probably with his crusnik power on 100%. Well, this is what he looks like now.

And this is how Cain plans to battle as………

What in the hell is this, some kind of crusnik fashion show? So they battle it out, Abel gives a right, Cain gives a left……..and a right……..then a left……….then another right……..and this goes on all day and all night.

Some time later, Esther gets crowned Queen of Albion. EW! Okay okay, I will give her a little credit, that outfit really does look nice on her. There, that’s it, the only kudos she’ll ever get from me. C’mon, what has she done to deserve that Queen title? Does anybody remember when she killed that dude back in episode 3? She should go to hell for that!

Next, Abel is back all decked out in a suit of armor, and guess who’s with him? It’s Ion, the earl of Memphis. What’s he doing there? Oh I see, he’s agreed to fight by Abel’s side ’till the end of time, or at least until he reaches puberty I guess.

For those of you that have watched this anime series without reading the novels, you’ve probably noticed that a lot of information was left out. What sin did Abel commit? Why was Leon in jail? Why is Esther so stupid? Click on the wikipedia link below for a more thorough story on Trinity Blood.
