TRINITY BLOOD-THE CROWN OF THORNS 1:CITY IN THE MIST-EPISODE 23 3 STARS

Now remember, in the last episode, our favorite crusnik got slashed by Cain, and now he’s all sprawled out on the floor dead, thanks to Esther. Remind me to slap her ass next time I see her walking down the street. Okay, so Abel is dead, and Esther wigs out for a long time. In fact, she spends a lot of time hanging over his coffin, apologizing for being so useless and weak.

“Well, too late for that Esther, you should have realized that a long time ago when the series first started!” Lady Caterina visits Abel’s mom’s grave, and steals a vial full of blood, and gives it to Tres (aka Gunslinger). Ooooooh, I wonder if this blood can bring Abel back to life? We’ll just have to wait and see. Hey look, Isaac is still around. C’mon, you remember him from episode 10, right?

This is good news, ’cause every anime show should have at least 2 bad guys in it. But it’s terrible news for Rome, since Isaac is about to launch attack on it. Cain has his own agenda, as he plans to merge his body with Abel’s in order to gain access to his memory. If this is successful, Cain will retrieve a code to some rocket, and I guess he plans to blow up the whole world with it.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, somewhere in this episode we find out that Esther is an heir to the Albion throne, and I just have one thing to say about that……….Ew, ew, and ew. Okay, let me get back to the action, and stop hatin’ on that chick……. So the city is being attacked, and it’s up to the AX agents (minus Abel) to stop Isaac dead (or alive) in his tracks.

Hey, what’s this? The professor has invented a luxury car that can fly, unbelievable. As you can see by the look on Leon’s face (go up two pictures, the dude on the right), the Professor’s driving and flying skills suck. This car can also shoot missiles, but they’re not powerful enough to go up against Isaac’s huge ship that looks like the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars.

Another ship shoots a powerful blast at it, but it’s protected by a mighty force field. Oh well, I guess people will just have to pack their bags, and get the hell out of town, and they seem to be doing just that, just look at the picture below.

Will the Rosenkreuz team win? Will Abel come back to life? Will someone push Esther over a cliff? No, I’m serious, can someone please push Esther over a cliff? One more episode to go and we’ll find out!
