Yes, Rock Lee gets another opportunity to hit on Sakura, but my question is, why would anybody want to? We’ll get back to him in a bit, but first let’s zoom in on Sakura to see how she’s holding up taking care of Sasuke and Naruto all by herself. Well, if she doesn’t make it as a ninja, she’d probably make a good nurse.

Yes, I know that was a sexist statement, but keep in mind that Sakura has done absolutely nothing during this whole series, so don’t get mad at me. Okay, so Sakura moves the guys to a cave, and starts dozing off. Then she starts dreaming about dumb stuff that nobody cares about, and while she’s doing that, the hidden sound village ninjas send in a squirrel, with a paper bomb on it’s back.

Yes I know, what a bunch of cruel jerks, right? But don’t worry, the bomb didn’t go off, and Sakura awakens from her dumb dream just in time. Meanwhile Rock Lee splits from his team, probably to go stick his nose where it doesn’t belong. However, he finds the squirrel and is able to take the bomb off it’s back. You know, Rock may not be such a bad guy after all.

And you know, he’s really not that bad looking. A trip to the barber shop can do wonders for him. Now while Rock is about to run into Sakura, team mate Neji runs into Ino, Shikamaru, and Chouji. The three of them try to hide, but it’s too late, they’ve been found out.

Ino tries to distract Neji with her beauty? Hey, she said it, not me. She tries to hit on him so she won’t get a beat down and lose the scroll, but he tells her in so many words to get the hell out of his face. He also calls her team cowardly wimps, reminding them that he would never stoop so low as to take a scroll from them.

Ino gets all pissed off, but what did she expect? This is supposed to be a grueling ninja test in a forest, not a nightclub. However, Neji was a little rough on her. Now I know that he’s cute and everything, but he’s comin’ across as a pompous bastard. I bet Naruto could take him out. Unfortunately he’s still out cold for yet another episode, and now I’m getting pissed off.

Hidden sound ninjas move in on Sakura, but she set a trap above their heads. Wow, I didn’t know she had the courage or strenght to pull that off. Well, I won’t give her a lot of credit yet, ’cause the ninjas were able to dodge it, and they’re still after her. And in comes the Rock to her rescue, calling himself “the handsome devil of the leaf village”, yeah right.

Yes, Rock steps in and tells Sakura that he will protect her with his life. Does he even know her last name? So it’s Rock against the world, and it’s on now. One of the hidden sound ninjas attack, but Rock is too good for this dude. But keep in mind, it’s one against three, so he uses a forbidden jutsu called the lotus technique.

It’s a self-sacrificing jutsu that puts a huge strain on the human body, and should only be used as a last resort, in other words, to protect a weak fool like Sakura. So Rock uses it to pile drive one of the ninjas head into the ground but his team mate is able to use another jutsu to soften the blow.

“Bad move Rock, you should have beat the crap out of them first, and saved your lotus jutsu ’till the end, now you’re dead meat! So you and Sakura need to get together, say your prayers, and hope death comes quickly!”
