NARUTO-NARUTO’S COUNTERATTACK:NEVER GIVE IN!-EPISODE 29-3 STARS

In the last episode, Sasuke was getting his butt kicked by that long tongue ninja witch from the hidden grass village. Naruto steps in to help, but Sasuke tells him to run,’cause that’s something he would like to do. “Sasuke, you’re such a jerk! Why should Naruto back away just because you’re scared?”

Not only does Sasuke tell Naruto to scram, he also gives up the scroll to the snake ninja witch. Gee, Sasuke must be smokin’ some strong stuff, ’cause he’s lost his damn mind. Did he really think he would breeze through this test with kid gloves? Of course he’s gonna run into some tough opposition, but that’s no reason to give up at the first (or second) sign of trouble! Naruto steps in to save the scroll from falling into enemy hands, and punches Sasuke into oblivion. Question is, was the blow hard enough?

Ninja witch isn’t done. She uses a jutsu to summon yet another snake that attacks Naruto, and Sasuke is too scared to do anything about it. But what is Sakura doing? Please, don’t ask, she’s probably polishing her nails or ordering a pizza, ’cause she sure isn’t fighting!

Meanwhile, outside the forest of death (where its safe), a few ninjas run into some dead bodies, possible chunin candidates, so they contact Anko, who’s too busy shoving food down her throat, I never realized h0w greedy she was. Anyway, Anko doesn’t know what this is all about, so she goes to where the corpses are laying, and finds out that they are three ninjas from the hidden grass village.

Not only are they dead, but their faces are missing, and one of them belongs to the ninja witch that’s out there attacking Naruto and Co. Of course she doesn’t know that, but we can fill her in on that next time we run into her. In the meantime, she tells the other ninjas to get Lord Hokage in on this, while she goes after the impostors. Gee, I wonder who it is.

Now back to Naruto who’s getting slapped around by this huge snake. He successfully gets a few licks in, but it’s not good enough, especially since ninja witch uses a fire jutsu to put him in his place. She then turns to Sasuke to give him another beat-down, but Naruto steps in to take the blow. “Sasuke, don’t you ever call Naruto a scardeycat again in your entire anime life!”

Ninja witch sees Naruto’s nine tail fox seal and attacks it, and he’s out like a light. Now Sakura gets all pissed off since Sasuke is still frozen in his tracks, afraid to do anything lest he gets wiped out by the ninja witch and her snake posse. Only thing is, why is she getting an attitude, she hasn’t done crap ever since this show started!

I would like to say she’s a waste of a character, but the way she runs after Sasuke is so hilarious,  I’m sure the anime writers are gonna keep her around for awhile. “Well Sasuke, what are you gonna do? Naruto is out cold, Sakura is useless again, so it’s up to you dude!”
