Ayumu has devised a new challenge for the Blade Children, but they will need to let Hiyono loose in the city, then move in to catch her again. They’ll also have to get their hands on the tape too in order to win the game. And since Ayumu is such a nice guy, he’ll let the Blade Kids make up the rules.
Well, well, well…….little Narumi is back with a vengeance, and Ryo is all pissed off and tells him that he’ll regret this “tough guy” attitude. And what’s Ayumu’s response? “Try and make me.” Wow, Somebody just got treated!
Next day, Ryo lays down the rules. Ayumu will wear a bomb around his neck, how nice. Hiyono has the key to disarm it, unfortunately she’s on the other side of town. Ayumu will have to find her fast to get the key, but he’ll also have to retrieve the tape before the Blade Kids get it.
Where is the tape? Waiting to be delivered to Ayumu’s mailbox. Yes, he mailed it to himself, and it should arrive at 2pm, but the Blade Brats need the key to open it the mailbox. Ayumu gives the key to Ryo, but the mailbox is on the other side of town. How is Ryo gonna get the key to Kosuke, and recapture Hiyono?
And speaking of her, Kosuke will release her at 1:30, and give her 10 minutes to get as far away from him as possible. After that, he and Ryo will move in to capture her again. If they get the tape before Ayumu, and they’re able to recapture Hiyono, she will die immediately. Awwww, and there’s a tear in my eye…….not!
Bottom line, whoever gets Hiyono and the tape is the winner, didn’t I say that before? Now it looks like the Blade Children have the odds in their favor, after all, they don’t have a bomb hanging around their neck waiting to go off at 2:30. However, if Ayumu is killed, and the Kids are still not able to retrieve the tape, Madoka will check the mail, play the tape, and arrest them.
Oh yeah, everybody gets cell phones, so that teamwork is possible. HOWEVER, if Ayumu uses the phone to call for help, Ryo will detonate that bomb, and that’s that. Only thing is, how will she know who Ayumu is calling?
Anyway, it’s 1:30, and it’s on now. Kosuke releases Hiyono, and she takes off like a 747 down the street. Remember, she gets a 10 minute head start. She phones Ayumu and he tells her to head for Shumari train station where she’ll be safe, assuming that the Blade Kids won’t hurt her in front of a crowd.
The thing is, who in the hell would be afraid of Ryo? She’s no taller than a tree stump, and she has a rabbit backpack, give me a damn break! Just slap her ass down the stairs, and keep on going! Yes, I know winning the game by brute force wouldn’t be right, but if you or your friend had a bomb around their neck, wouldn’t you want to win at all costs, even if you have to cheat?
Ryo talks to Kosuke on the phone, while she’s riding in a cab…..WHAT? “Okay Ryo, you are sooooo cheating!” Anyway, she tells Kosuke that there’s no way she can get the key to him and tells him to pick the lock. But he’s worried that someone will see him. It doesn’t matter, ’cause he can’t do anything anyway until the tape is delivered.
So Kosuke goes after the tape, and Ryo goes after Hiyono. Ryo tries to think like Ayumu and also comes to the conclusion that Hiyono is probably hanging out Shumari station, and she heads over there. Spotting Ryo right away, Hiyono scrambles to get on a train, but she’s not sure which one to take.
Ryo helps her make a decision, by pushing her on the high speed express train, that won’t make it back to Shumari station until 2:30. But that’s when the bomb will go off. “HIYONO, YOU DUMB CHICK!! Can’t you do anything right?” But it’s not over yet, Ayumu has another ace up his sleeve………………
