SPIRAL-THE HAPPINESS OF THOSE WHO BELIEVE-EPISODE 4-3 1/2 STARS

Take a good look at the picture above, ’cause this guy is cool. His name is Kousuke Asazuki, and he’s cute and witty. Did I also tell you that he was a psychopath? Well, you know how it is, nobody’s perfect, right?

He runs into Hiyono and invites her to participate in a card game. He gives her a bunch of cards, tell her to pick one out, while he guesses it. With some logical deductions, and some finesse, he’s able to pick the right card.

Ayumu eases in on the conversation, who knows, maybe he got scared that another guy was moving in on his girl. Kousuke reveals that he is one of the Blade Children, and that he was responsible for killing Mr. Sonobe.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that guy, remember him from episode 1? I haven’t talked about him much, my bad. Remember, he tried to kill Sayoko, but when he was found out, he ran, and someone attacked him, and he landed in the hospital.

Now the person that jumped him was the one that was responsible for the murder in episode 2. I didn’t tell you who that was, but why would I give away all the spoilers? Anyway, Sonobe ended up in the hospital, but he plans on killing the Blade Children.

Unfortunately he won’t get a chance to do it, ’cause Kousuke pushed him out of his hospital window, and he landed flat on his face. Kousuke is a complete bad ass wouldn’t you agree? Anyway, he invites Ayumu to play a card game at an abandoned elementary school.

If Ayumu wins the game, Kousuke will give him the 411 on his missing brother, and the Blade Children. But if he loses, he’ll just get stung by a bunch of bees, and die (since he’s allergic to them), but he goes anyway.

Now I think it’s stupid for anybody to bet their life on a card game, but Ayumu seems to be a genius, so he may be able to handle it. Okay, so he and Hiyono arrive at this school, wait a minute, who in the hell invited her?

Now there’s a lot of sass talk going on between Kousuke, and Ayumu, but I really don’t feel like repeating everything they said, just watch the episode when you get a chance. Ayumu wins the card game, but Kousuke tries to kill him with the bees anyway.

Ayumu is able to escape, but you’ve got to see the episode to find out how, ’cause if I try to explain it, I’d be going on forever, and you might get bored. Kousuke flees the scene without keeping his promise to Ayumu to tell him about his brother. Okay, so he’s a liar too, I LOVE IT, THIS IS GETTING GOOD!
