SPIRAL-MANOR OF DEATH-EPISODE 2-2 1/2 STARS

spiral-episode-2-pic-7.jpg

In the first scene, we see Takako a translator, talking on her car phone about paying big sums of money in order to get away from the Blade Children. You know, I wish somebody would give me so more info. about these cursed brats that are runnin’ around making everybody miserable.

Well it seems that Takako will never be able to make her first payment, ’cause she winds up dead in the Manor of Death. Yes folks, that is actually the name of a place that people live in, go figure.

So we have a murder, and there are four suspects, and it’s up to Madoka and Suemaru to try to solve it. Hiyono gets a hold of this juicy gossip, and passes it on to Ayumu. In return for this piece of information (or maybe just because he’s nice), he gives her a bag of croissants that he baked.

Damn! This guy can cook, wash the dishes, and bake delicious croissants, some girl better scoop him up quickly! Well, I think that Hiyono probably has first dibs, especially since she can be considered his personal shadow. I still don’t understand how she can be a busybody, and pass all her classes at the same time.

Ayumu has bits and pieces of info of the crime, and he decides to stick his big nose right in the middle of it, by asking Raizo (manor of death owner) what he knows about the Blade Children. Only thing is, he’s not talking, could he be the killer?

Madoka and Suemaru try desperately to solve this case, but they accuse the wrong person. Ayumu comes to the rescue and helps put together the pieces of the puzzle, but that’s only because he had more information to go on.

For some strange reason, Sayoko reveals that Takako was supposed to tell her about the Blade Children, but never got the chance. Also, she had a heart problem, which helped Ayumu break the case wide open.

To be totally honest with you, even after knowing the facts, I still don’t know how he solved this with so few clues, but then again, I’m not a genius, and I really don’t give a damn.
