This episode opens to a gruesome scene, but it’s cartoon blood, so there’s no need to freak out. There are 15 vampire bodies scattered all over the place, too bad, let’s forget about them, and focus on cute guy number two, Tres, (aka Gunslinger). Now Tres is an android priest with an itchy trigger finger. In fact, he needs to diss his priestly garments, and trade them in for a cowboy outfit.
Tres finds a girl amongst the bodies, but she tries to get away, and he starts shooting at her. That’s bad. No, it’s not bad because he’s shooting at her, it’s bad because he keeps missing! Go ahead, call me an evil person, but this girl is the one that’s evil.
Nightroad finds out that this girl’s name is Eris, and she’s a by product of gene manipulation. In other words, she’s a mutant, a freakazoid, a witch. Now the Professor (aka cute guy number 3) states that Eris will be sent to Rome, and detained at the monastery, but Cardinal Caterina has other plans.
This girl Eris is having some major issues right now, and I think she qualifies as being a full blown emo. She’s neither human, or vampire, and when she’s around, everyone starts dying, even her parents tried to get rid of her. But you know how Father Nightroad is, he’s everybody friend, as he reassures Eris that he will be there for her.
The first opportunity that Eris gets, she tries to escape, but Tres starts firing away, but he misses her again! “Damn Tres, what’s wrong with you, maybe you need to be rewired or somethin’, ’cause your accuracy rate sucks!”
Nightroad tries to stop the shooting, then Tres turns on him too. Now its getting good, the cute robot against the cute crusnik, I love it. Nightroad uses a faulty wire to short out Tres, so unfortunately he’ll be out of action for a while.
Some chick vampire poses as a nun to kidnap Eris, and she plans to turn her over to the Rosenkreuz. You do remember what that is, right? Since the Professor has a tracking device, Nightroad is able to find her, but Tres comes crashing through the roof first, blasting away at anything that moves. Yes, I know you thought he was out of commission, but he has an auto repair system, and now he’s back in action.
But damn, an innocent person could get hurt in this whole fiasco, so Tres needs to calm down a little. Now while he looks for Eris, it’s Crusnik time for Nightroad, so everybody better just stay out of his way while he owns this vampire witch real quick.
Hey, wait a minute, Tres tried to kill Eris a few scenes back, so I really don’t think he should be the one to go look for her. Anyway, at the end of the episode, we find out that Tres does have a change of heart, but I wonder where he got it from since he’s not human. Yes, he lets Eris live, by comin’ up with some lame excuse, talkin’ about he’s out of bullets.
But we find out that he’s not, especially when he unloads on the half dead vampire witch, “Damn Nightroad, you mean to tell me that you didn’t finish the job?” Yes, she comes back for one last attack, but thanks to Tres, she’s the one that gets it.
So he lets Eris live, and the last scene, she goes following after Tres, awww how cute. “Hey Eris, can you get either Nightroad’s or Tres’s phone number for me?”
