Unfortunately this is a rather short episode, but it’s not my fault. Go talk to the Naruto producers who spent over 10 minutes recapping everything that has happened up to this point. It kind of pissed me off, as I had to keep my hand on the fast forward button, but the nightmare is over, and I can bring you this review.
Now remember, it’s Sasuke and Haku going at it right now, but Sasuke is having a hard time with Haku’s crystal ice mirror jutsu, and is getting cut up a bit. But it’s okay (I think), Naruto has joined the show. Kakashi tells them they need to attack from both the inside, and outside to find out how the mirrors work.
Well, I guess that plan will have to wait ’till another day, ’cause Naruto rushes in to help Sasuke, a big mistake. After Sasuke finishes being pissed off, he uses his fireball jutsu to try to melt the ice mirrors, but it doesn’t do any good.
Naruto uses shadow clone jutsu, but since Haku can move at light speed, he’s able to get the upper hand, and spank Naruto with his needles.
Kakashi realizes that this kick butt jutsu is called Kekki Genkai, a bloodline trait that is passed down from generation to generation within a single clan. Because of this, the crystal ice mirror jutsu can’t be learned, copied, or destroyed.
“Well guys, I don’t know what to tell you, somebody better go back to the village of the leaves, and get the honorable hokage to help out, before everybody ends up all hacked up!”
