NARUTO-BATTLE ON THE BRIDGE! ZABUZA RETURNS!-EPISODE 12-3 STARS

At the beginning of this scene, Haku dresses up like a girl, ok, I don’t know if he purposely did that, maybe all his guy clothes are dirty, all I know is that he went outside with a pink dress on to gather herbs. He runs into Naruto, who is passed out, probably exhausted from all that tree climbing.

Haku wakes him up, and Naruto is startled that this pretty girl (well, Naruto thinks he’s a girl!) is standing over him, and they start talkin’. Now the anime writers could have really made this entertaining if they would have let Naruto hit on Haku. He could say somethin’ like this, “Hey baby, can you write your phone number on this leaf?”

So Haku is asking him all these dumb questions, about why is he training, is he trying to protect someone, blah, blah, blah. Then he has a brief flashback to the days when he was a bum out on the street, trying to fight a dog for scraps, then he runs into Zabuza.

Of course Haku doesn’t tell Naruto anything about this flashback, ’cause he recognized him from the last fight, when Zabuza was gettin’ owned. This flashback does help tell the story of how Zabuza and Haku met, but I have a hard time believing that Zabuza is a kind hearted soul who took a hobo off the streets.

At the end of the conversation, Haku reveals to Naruto that he’s a boy. Probably a good idea, since Naruto kept callin’ him ’sis’, but Naruto freaks out, especially since he though that Haku looked prettier than Sakura. “Don’t worry Naruto, just about everybody looks better than Sakura, so don’t be embarrassed.”

Late that night, Sasuke, and Naruto stroll into Tazuna’s home, all tore up, but the good thing is that they both can successfully climb to the top of the tree. A while later, in comes emo Inari to spoil everybody’s dinner, by talkin’ crap again. First he says that all that training is just a waste of time.

Inari also says that the strong always win, and the weak always lose, then Naruto tells him to kiss off. Well, he doesn’t really use those words, but in the end, he calls Inari a coward, and now the emo kid is off again to start crying. This time Kakashi intervenes, I guess he knows that we’re gettin’ tired of that punk ass kid talkin’ smack, and spoilin’ everybody’s fun.

Actually, Kakashi has a good heart to heart talk with Inari, and tells him how Naruto also grew up without a dad and friends, but he kept going, and never gave up. The talk lasts for several minutes, but I’m not about to type word for word everything that was said, so watch the episode so that you don’t miss out on the conversation.

Next morning, Kakashi, and co. sneak out to give Naruto a much needed rest. Just take a good look at that picture, “NARUTO, I’M GONNA TAKE THIS PICTURE, AND SHOW ALL YOUR ENEMIES!” Cmon, who’s gonna be afraid of Naruto after I show them this (just look above).

Zabuza has fully recovered after being spanked by Kakashi, but he’s back for more. He’s got to take out the bridge builder per Gato’s orders, but this time he bought along Haku. No Haku wasn’t dressed like a girl, so stop laughing! He’s got on his elite assassin outfit, so you know this fight is gonna be good!
