THE BOREDOM OF HARUHI SUZUMIYA-EPISODE 7-3 STARS

In order for Haruhi to escape her dull existence once again, she enters the SOS Brigade into a baseball tournament in order to show the entire world who they are. Man, I can’t wait to see how this turns out.

To get some batting practice in, the gang go out to a baseball field where Haruhi tries to bully another team to leave the field. After they look at her like she’s crazy, Haruhi throws Mikuru in their face believing they will change their mind, and they do. So Mikuru is out on the field, but the balls are coming at her 100 miles an hour, and she ducks instead of trying to catch them. “Mikuru, stop acting like a little priss, and catch one of those damn balls!”

Then, the game starts. Haruhi is up to bat first, and hits a double. Well, its nice to know she’s good at something besides being a brat. Mikuru is up next, and as you know she is an automatic out. Yuki is the next out, and then Kyon. Now Haruhi is all pissed off, but they’re a bunch of high schoolers playing against college kids, what did she expect?

Okay, so the other team is up, and Haruhi is the pitcher. She gets the first guy out, but the second guy hits the ball pretty hard, and Yuki just stands there, as the ball sails right over her head, and out of the park.  “Damn Yuki, couldn’t you at least run that ball down, and make it look like you know how to play?”

Haruhi gets kind of desperate, so she changes into a cheer-leading outfit, and makes Mikuru do the same, I guess this is to distract the other team from the game. “Sorry Haruhi, no guy is gonna lose a ball game so that he can look at you, so can you please do us all a favor and put your clothes back on?”

Haruhi is up to bat again, she gets on base once more, but Mikuru strikes out again, Kyon doesn’t do any better, and once again Haruhi is pissed off, and now the world is in trouble………..again. Yep, that’s right, another closed space has just been created, and its spreading at an alarming rate. You do remember what a closed space is, right? If not, go back to read episode 5 and 6 so you’re not lost.

Itsuki has the nerve to tell Kyon that it’s his fault that a closed space has formed, ’cause he’s batting clean-up, and is doing a terrible job at it. So Kyon tries a little harder out in the field, and  makes an amazing catch, and Yuki steps in and casts a spell to help them win the game. Now Queen Suzumiya is happy again, and the closed space gets smaller, but now Itsuki has to leave to fight the ShinJins, of course he doesn’t tell Haruhi that.

Because of his departure, they forfeit the next round and go out to eat, but its not over, now Haruhi wants to try soccer or football. What in the hell is wrong with that girl?
